Oh, that’s a good question. So I’m a geologist and for many years I studied mountains and high plateaus like the Tibetan Plateau or the Colorado Plateau and how they formed. And now I study what I call Geocognition which is the intersection between cognitive science, how the brain works, and geological sciences. So really how people perceive, understand and interact with the planet. So a geologist is someone who studies the earth. And you can actually think a little more broadly about an earth scientist.
